With the new age of sprinklers and drippers having small orifices, filtration is very important part of an irrigation system. Filters, screen and disc type that require manual cleaning as they plug or a fully automatic that cleans itself. There is also a compromise between the two. A manual brush or scan filter lets you clean without taking the filter apart every cleaning.
